Vipassana afternoons

We meet once a month in the afternoon for Vipassana meditation, which means "introspection".
This three-hour meditation allows you to slow down with the help of your breath and relax and turn towards your inner being. It creates the space where insights can come and you learn more about who you are and who you are not and to accept yourself as you are... to become a better friend to yourself.

During the 3-hour Vipassana, phases of "sitting in silence - observing" alternate with the "Zenwalk - slow, conscious walking".

The evening ends with guided relaxation and Metta Meditation, a meditation to give love to you, others and the world.

After the meditation you will then have the opportunity, if you wish, to share and receive support in a joint sharing.

for "old hands."

If you already know the Vipassana Meditation, you are invited to take part in it at 2.30 p.m. without introduction and to give yourself a room of silence for 2.5 hours.

Vipassana ...

is one of the oldest meditations there is. It comes from India and it is said that Buddha was enlightened by this meditation.
Nowadays it is still very widespread, but
have formed different directions over time. The traditional Vipassana is an intensive meditation process that is usually offered in 10 day retreats.

Vipassana today

is a Vipassana, which is tailored to today's people, i.e. it wants to make it possible for modern people to integrate mindfulness into today's fast life.
Originally a Buddhist meditation, it is now independent of religion and is incorporated as a fundamental part of many stress management programs tailored to people today.
